image types

i got this image from http://www.comicbookmovie.com/images/users/uploads/9871/call_of_duty_4_modern_warfare_2.jpg

this image shows texture and colour, the texture comes from the grain and dirt that is seen in the image, it shows that if it had texture it would be quite rough to the touch. the colours in this image are mostly neutral to go along with the grain texture to make it all fit together.

i got this image from http://l.yimg.com/a/i/us/ga/buzz/feature/vg17/cod2_600x463.jpg
this picture has depth to it as there is the main foreground with the soldier and the background with the burning car and the building.

i got this image from http://shinra.gamezine.se/photos/article/a1a1f826f77df773c0292aefe648db6d.jpg
this image shows depth, perspective and movement. there is depth to this image as there is the gun in the foreground then the player and vehicle then the buildings and mountain. the perspective comes from the buildings as this is a 2 point perspective they go off into 2 different directions. the movement comes from the bullet sparks and the buildings become blurred wich shows that the character is moving.

skate 2 review
skate 2 is the latest in the skate series which is developed by ea (electronic arts), skate 2 is set 5 years after the original game after a series of unfortunate disasters that left the city in devistation. the city has now been rebuilt and has been redesigned with new spots and buildings. there are a few spots still around from the first game but with a few tweaks to them. there has also been a clampdown on skating with blocks put up in the major skate plaza's and around the streets which can be taken down using the new contacts section of the phone, these contacts have big black who will help out with securiy in restricted areas, someone who can drain pool's around the city for a few more skate spots.
the gameplay and graphics have been updated in the game for more playabilaty, new tricks such as handplants and finger flip's, other tricks have been updated to give even more control to the player. the graphics are not much different from the first but you can tell that they have been smoothened out and a bit more detail added and alot smoother gameplay without the jumpiness of the first game. as you progress through the game you have options to buy skateparks and teleport to them wenever you feel like it. if you ever get bored of skating the parks and streets you could always play with the thrasher hall of meat which has taken over from the broken bones screen from the first, with the thrasher hall of meat with every bail you do you will get a score on the amount of bones that are broken or unique ways of injury such as breaking the groin or falling at high speeds.

overall the gameplay and graphics are better than the first with hours more fun to be had and alot more skating. the downside to this game is that sometimes it can be very annoying with the tricks not going as you had wanted and some missions are about trial and error re-doing them alot to get it right.
